The Cobalt Club

The Shadow fan club.

... on the Sam Rami "Shadow" movie? I know that Rami's been a fan for years and I really HOPE this project sees the light of day. There was a lot to like about the '95 Shadow (Not the least of which was Alec Baldwin and Tim Curry), but the movie got next to no studio support.

So what do we think? Yea or Nea?

How about Cillian Murphy?

As much as I like Bruce Campbell, I think he is a bit too old for Harry.

Sam Rami has done a lot of good stuff, Bruce Campbell would be a natural to appear in the film if Sam Rami is producing it.

Bruce Campbell would make an excellent Harry.

I agree. Harry Vincent should be in his late 20's.

CLIVE OWEN is the best choice, that I know about, to play Lamont Cranston/ The Shadow.

As for Margo Lane, well I'm not sure (it has to be a better actress than Penelope Miller).

Shrevvy could be played by a number of actors: MY VOTE GOES TO Vin Deisel, because of his build and comic timing!

As far as actors go, the actor should fit the character rather than have a big name. Some English actors have been suggested, but remember, these charactors( except for Inspector Delka, for instance) were Americans. The characters of different races should be played by those races; blacks, chinese, etc. The Shadow is different. Because he has many disguises, and his face is unseen. different actors could play his various roles and guises. Also, one actor could play the physical part, while another could do the voice and chilling laughter. But these are just thoughts of mine, take them for what they are worth.

The Shadow Knows............
