Death House Rescue is one of my favorites, although Nursery Rhyme Murders has always been at the top. Granted, I've only heard a small number of them.

If you like old radio in general, one of my favorites is Pat Novak for Hire, with Jack Webb. The writing was very noir and it followed a formula for every episode. Webb's delivery was perfect. Look for it if you are so inclined.

The radio introduced me to the Shadow as well. I try to catch it as often as possible on ITunes at AM 1710 Antioch. No matter how many I have on tape, cd or lp (yes, vinyl) it's always a thrill to catch a random show.
