CLIVE OWEN is the best choice, that I know about, to play Lamont Cranston/ The Shadow.

This is entertaining at best... not a completely faithful adaptation of the Shadow, neither is the 1940 version (although much closer).
I'd say the 1940 Serial is my favorite, but I also like the 1994 film as well.
