Movie Review: the Invisible Avenger (1958)

THE INVISIBLE AVENGER (1958)
REPUBLIC FEATURES:

(re-released in 1964 as "Bourbon Street Shadows")
(This was originally planned to be a made for TV pilot;
but when it was unsold it was released as a movie)

There's a revolution going down down in the mythical South America
country of Santa Cruz and the exiled leader of that country is in
New Orleans. The dictator of Santa Cruz fakes his own death in order
to draw his country's true ruler out of exile, the better to kill
the man.
The exile and his beautiful daughter are threatened and a friend
calls Lamont Cranston for aid and assistance. Richard Derr stars as
the Shadow with Mark Daniels co-starring as Cranston's personal guru
Jogendra. There is no Margo Lane in this movie.

For me this movie seemed to move slow and I found the plot somewhat
confusing.
