The Missing Lady (1946)

This is the third in Monogram's series of B Shadow movies.

As in the first two movies Margo is an annoying jealous girlfriend
band although it plays more of a part in this movie than in the first
one it does not actually become a major subplot as in the second
movie.

The story involves a murder mystery and "missing lady" which is a
small jade statue. Some bad attempt at comedy is made as Cranston
taunts the police investigator by suggesting that he look for
the "missing lady" and as the investigator insists no woman was taken
from the crime scene. For some reason Cranston lets the
misunderstanding persist until well into the movie.

This movie is worse than the first monogram movie but better than the
second.
